Looking at, Looking for and Seeing

Looking at is surface level seeing.

It involves the head only.

You are satisfied with a surface level interpretation.

Looking for is a driven looking.

Using your eyes only in an arrow like focus

to find what you think you are looking for.

It involves, expectation, and inherently disappointment.

Seeing is open eyed and open hearted looking.

Seeing is Soulful looking.
