Wanting to do it right
Can keep us up all night
Many an unnecessary war we incite
When we allow our internal battles to ignite
An avoidable and yet everyday fight
This is a massive international plight
It doesn’t take much to trigger us..
Make us bite
When our insides are wound up so damn tight!
Our own inner demons our worst kryptonite
We blow up like dynamite!
While remaining on the outside calm and polite
Our programming we hold on to with all of our might
It keeps us small and out of sight
We’re constantly shrinking from our actual height
On a daily basis we indict
Our own and others inner light
Pretending that everything’s alright!
Nothing could be further than the truth
We have so much self hatred
Way more than 200 terabyte
I’d like to learn from the neurite
To evolve, inspire and shine so bright
If anyone’s interested in a systems rewrite
and might I add “re-right”
Let’s reunite!
