Reinventing 62

This is what I want to do

Or rather skate through!

A whole new life..to step into

I want in this last chapter..

To be true

To my heart and soul….

I will no longer subdue

My light..my love..my dreams

with you!

It’s like a brand new

Debut!

It’s long overdue

This necessary review

Of where and how I’ve 

Chosen -at times askew

I want to renew

My vows with my self and the life I’ve been gifted

yippee doooo

To the old and limiting beliefs I say adieu!

Aging differently somehow still seems taboo!

Why would we live our life from the past

It’s like driving forwards -but only looking in the rear view

Or like living in a constant dress rehearsal or an interview

And yet..today is brand effing new!

We don’t know how many more days we get-

It may only be a few!~

No longer do I want to stew

Over things that don’t matter

That make me blue!

We get to choose the tone..the colours and certainly the hue!

It means that I have a lot to undo

The brain washing from society-

It has us living quite untrue

From our internal system-our true..

VALUE!

We might need an internal coup!

We get to decide this! YAHOO!

No need to stand in a queue

Or press repeat on a past we outgrew

We get to choose 

What we want to keep-

And what deserves a review 

And even a redo!

Maybe it’s time to write a haiku!

Take a class in juijitsu!

Still not ready for a tattoo

Definitely time to change up my shampoo!

I want to learn some more from Winnie the Pooh!

So much to learn. So much to imbue.
